About me

I can see ages 6 to 106. I have been trained in pediatric, adolescent, adults and geriatric mental health.

Medication management

Yes!! We can talk and collaborate. Together, we can find a treatment plan that aligns with your goals.

Yes. I cannot prescribe stimulants and I will not prescribe benzodiazepines except in unique situations. These medications can cause dependence. Benzodiazepines are especially dangerous if you are to withdraw. In most instances, there are far more effective ways to treat anxiety, especially related to PTSD. Benzodiazepines, when used long term, have been linked to dementia.

Psychotherapy

I can treat depression, anxiety, ADHD (non-stimulants), bipolar disorder, PTSD and others. If I do not feel that my skill set matches the needs of the patient, I will refer to someone that is better suited for that situation.

Currently, I can do talk therapy and ketamine assisted psychotherapy. Eventually I will be offering EMDR. Other therapies will be referred out to a licensed psychological counselor, licensed clinical social worker, or the like.

The process

You can schedule through the link on my website. You will be sent forms to complete and I will review them. We will have a quick phone call to see if we are good match. Synergy is important for healing and I only have your best interest in mind.

Intake takes about an hour and a half to two hours. At the intake appointment, we will develop a plan of care. In rare instances, it may take a few appointments to get to know each other and map out the best treatment plan. After we have developed a treatment plan, your prescription(s) will be sent to your pharmacy and you will be scheduled for a follow up visit. You will be able to reach out via your Osmind patient portal or Spruce if you have any concerns.
